Abstract

Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) has emerged as a popular and effective approach in English language teaching, emphasizing the use of meaningful tasks to enhance student engagement and language acquisition. This paper explores the principles of TBLT, its implementation in the English classroom, and its impact on student motivation and engagement. Through task-based activities, learners experience authentic language use, improving both their communicative competence and their overall language skills. The article also discusses challenges teachers may face in implementing TBLT and strategies for overcoming them.
