The significance of phrasal verbs lies in their ability to deliver more specific or idiomatic meanings. They can support speakers sound more natural and fluent in conversational English. In fact, phrasal verbs are widely used in both informal and formal contexts, though they tend to be more common in everyday speech, texts, and media. The aim of the classification of phrasal verbs is to provide a unique understanding of their syntactic and semantic properties. Classifying into several categories, Phrasal verbs can be studied such as transitive and intransitive, separable and inseparable, as well as idiomatic and non-idiomatic. Each category displays various syntactic structures and nuances in meaning which makes them essential for language learners who want to study it properly .The given article explores the distinct classification schemes, highlighting the challenges posed by their unpredictable feature and the essence of context in finding out their meaning. Through this classification, the provided research seeks to boost both the teaching and comprehension of phrasal verbs, enhancing strategies for more efficient language acquisition
