THE METHOD OF USING ROLE-PLAYING GAMES TO ENHANCE YOUNG LEARNERS' LISTENING SKILLS

This article researches that role-playing games are an entertaining and successful way to improve young learners' listening abilities. By giving children the chance to participate in authentic situations, actively listen, and react contextually, educators can support kids' language development comprehensively and interestingly. In addition to improving listening, this approach encourages speaking, critical thinking, and teamwork. These key strategies for enhancing young learners' listening abilities through role-playing games are intended to hold students' attention, make listening enjoyable and purposeful, and give them practical language practice. Through the use of props, emotional expression, peer-to-peer interaction, pre-listening activities, and reflection, educators can greatly improve the listening skills of young students.
