Abstract

This article talks about the impact of climate change on global tourism and hospitality is crucial as it directly threatens the viability of key destinations through rising sea levels, extreme weather, and altered ecosystems. Popular tourism spots like the Maldives and ski resorts in Europe face economic and environmental collapse if climate adaptation strategies are not urgently implemented. Furthermore, the hospitality industry must pivot towards sustainable practices to meet rising traveler demands for eco-friendly experiences and reduce the sector's significant carbon footprint.
