Abstract

Congenital clefts of the upper lip and palate (CCL) have a great influence on the
formation of the child’s dental system. The article presents for the first time data from an
analysis of the birth rate, prevalence, and ethno-territorial characteristics of CCL in children in
the Fergana Valley.
