Influenza is the most common and rapidly spreading acute disease, found in almost all countries of the world. This disease is characterized by seasonality, most cases are recorded mainly in the autumn-winter months. Every year, in all countries of the world, influenza and acute respiratory viral infections occupy one of the leading places in terms of morbidity and the amount of economic damage caused. Severe forms of influenza and the complications it causes require the use of preventive measures. A distinctive feature of influenza from other nosological forms of acute respiratory viral infections is the presence of vaccine preparations that reduce morbidity and mortality, as well as prevent severe complications.
