Abstract

This article deals with the issue of comparative analysis of deictic expressions in English and Uzbek languages. This article conducts a comparative analysis of deictic expressions in both English and Uzbek, investigating similarities, differences, and their significance in intercultural communication. Deictic expressions, fundamental linguistic components, play a vital role as essential guides for indicating and aligning spatial, temporal, and personal aspects within communication.
